Domad Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 14, 2026
Doctorsfit ("we") builds and distributes the iOS app Domad ("the app"). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
1. Summary
Domad has no account sign-up and no server of our own. It opens and saves only the folders and files you pick yourself, entirely on your device. The contents of your documents are never transmitted to us.
2. Information we do not collect
- Account information such as name, email address, or phone number
- Location, contacts, photos, or calendar data
- Advertising identifiers or behavioral data
- The contents of any document you open or edit
- Usage analytics (the app contains no analytics SDK)
We operate no server or database, so we have no means of collecting or storing the above.
3. Information kept on your device
| Item | What it is | Where it is stored | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Connection records | Security-scoped bookmarks for iCloud Drive folders you picked; Google Drive file IDs you picked | App storage on your device | Until you remove the connection or delete the app |
| Google tokens | Access and refresh tokens for Google Drive | iOS Keychain | Until you remove the connection or delete the app |
| Temporary document copies | Copies created briefly for printing or sharing | Device cache | Cleared automatically by iOS |
None of this leaves your device.
4. Google user data
Domad requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. This scope grants access solely to the files you explicitly select in the Google file picker; it cannot browse or search your Drive.
- Purpose: to open the Markdown (.md) and PDF files you pick, display them, save your edits back to the same file, and print, export, or share them
- Transmission: data travels only between Google's API servers and your device. It is not sent to us or to any third party
- It is not used to train artificial intelligence models
Domad's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. iCloud Drive and on-device files
Folders in iCloud Drive and the Files app are accessed only when you pick them in the iOS document picker. Access is stored on your device as an iOS security-scoped bookmark; we cannot see the folder's location or contents.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not share or transfer any of your information to third parties. The app includes no advertising network, analytics, or crash-reporting service.
7. Your choices
- Remove a connection in the app's Settings screen — the stored connection record and tokens are deleted from your device
- Revoke Domad's access at any time in your Google Account permissions
- Delete the app — everything it stored on your device is removed with it
8. Children
Domad is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and post the revision on this page.
